Judging the air...

I was not in hallucinating when I said this word… “Judging the air”… I meant what I said…

It was truly what is happening with all of us… people just LOVE to JUDGE others… crave for it… without knowing the truth about them… just being judgmental… as if they are “gods”... who never do mistakes…

People judge you because “simply” they cannot be you… they wish but they cannot… they try but they fail… so the simplest thing for them is to criticize and judge you… condemn you “guilty as charged”… to hang you for the smallest mistake… or for what they consider a mistake in their point of view…

They might even judge the air… judge anything that moves around them…. But they never think of taking a deep breath, check themselves and what they are doing.... or what they will be doing if they were put in the same situation as the other judged person…
I can say it’s a disease… disease of acting “gods” and assessing others….
If we really think of it from a different view… if we just stop, take our time and then see the truth about everything… if we really care.. or just judging the air…

Until the next blog…

This is so true Riham. The advantage you got is that you realized the game and got over it else you wouldn't be writing this now. What i hope for is that others can realize it too and simply stop judging & acting & be themselves. I don't care much about those who judge knowing what the consequences could be because they judge you anyway. So be authentic and your real self is the key to get over it. These very people who judge will never be there for you when you need them so why bother anyways. All the love girl

Unfortunately, it seems that especially in Egypt - people's only job seems to be to judge others... open your eyes & ears as you walk the streets, you will hear a thousand comments, get a hundred looks - your relatives will interfere on who you will marry, who your friends are, your friends will interfere on what you wear... it is a cycle of madness.

Anyways...

Good post.

i think people judge others cause they like to feel alive, in other words, maybe they seek their strength by acknoledging the weeknesses of others...
other pertain their strength by cririsizing others..

My dear friend,'Judgment Jugglers' on so and so, have always existed in our societies,it seems to be a mediterranean habit. When people don't know you or little do they know about you,can lead them to pretend they do because it satisfies their self-opinionated persona. Also people are always in search of imaginary past or present events so what becomes obscure to them is transformed into assumptions, then confirmations, made by their own minds. And Goblin how imaginative it can be!No One will admit they don't know you because you, don't want to reveal yourself! but instead, to proove they know something about you, any synonym that they think describes you arises in their dictionary. My piece of mind is not to be affected by these allegations, and to remain happy, always keep your flame away from the wind by hovering your hand over it and keep in mind that you are bound to get burned so move slowly!

Thank you.. I want to share short passage from Mevlana Rumi.

"A conceited person sees some sin, and the flames of Hell rise up in him. He calls that hellish pride defense of the Religion; he doesn't notice his own arrogant soul."
